O for Olive
Norm and Helen Adams engaged us to design three townhouses for them at Beach Road, Torquay. (Photos of this project are on our site under "Architecture").
They then asked us to design an olive processing complex, restaurant and sales facility to be erected on their olive grove at Bellbrae, Victoria.
We came up with the modern design illustrated below. Helen then asked us to produce a design that is sympathetic to the traditional brick faced house that they live in on the property.
This is the alternative design to be constructed from reclaimed red bricks and timber. We prefer the first design.
We anticipate the project proceeding when the olive grove has grown to a stage where it is producing enough fruit for the crop to become marketable.
